Lesson Policies

I offer guitar lessons for ages 7 and up. Open to younger students or anyone who enjoys music. Everyone is welcome!

I ask for 30 days' notice before you discontinue lessons.

Lessons are held once a week and are paid in advance. You are paying to reserve a specific time slot. Payments are non-refundable.

Tuition is due by the last lesson of the month to for the following month. If payment is not received by the last week, the time slot will be opened to other students.

Instead of makeup lessons, months with 5 weeks will only be charged for only 4 lessons. Exceptions may be considered for sickness or family emergency. Scheduling conflicts, sports or Dr appointments are not considered a family emergency.  

No call/no shows will not be made up.

I offer summer and winter packages at a discount for if you're going to be out of town for a few weeks.

I am here to help! I can assist in organizing a time to play and provide guidance on what to practice.

Lessons require a commitment to daily practice to achieve results. Plan on practicing for 30 minutes to one hour a day, and 10-25 minutes for children under 10. I am here to help you organize your schedule, find time, seek inspiration, and demonstrate how discipline can enhance your talent.

Students are expected to come to lessons prepared with questions and a professional mindset. For instance, arrive on time, or better yet, early, with a positive attitude and readiness.
