A passion to pass on
Born at a very young age, Casey started playing guitar at just one year old. Performing at the age of five, a passion for the guitar developed and has flourished ever since. By fifteen, performances in Nashville were underway. Since then, teaching, performing, and recording have remained top priorities. With over 160k streams on Spotify, this artist played lead guitar with Forest Violette and The Endangered Species.
Education included attendance at ASU, AIMM, and Columbia College. While at AIMM, the individual held the position of first chair and headlined the graduation concert. Following that, they won the title of best blues band in Savannah and currently endorse Curt Mangan Strings with a signature set. Previous experience includes working for the Ultimate Guitar website. Currently, they are playing with The Endangered Species and Forest Violette on Iron Gate Records.
Some incredible teachers have influenced this musician's journey, including Jack Sherman of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, virtuoso Dave Martone, a Cherokee medicine man, Joey Huffman and a friend who met Robert Johnson. One of their proudest moments was witnessing a student win a Grammy and perform at the Super Bowl. There is great enjoyment in seeing students improve and achieve their goals.
